ABOUT US
Hello, my name Is Sarah. My husband Mike and I have bred labs for over 30 years. We started off with labs because of my husband’s love of hunting, but we couldn’t help but to fall in love with the mellow, sweet, kind nature of English Labs. We pride ourselves on producing beautiful, healthy, White English Labs. All 3 of our dogs have great AKC, stacked, champion bloodline pedigrees, meaning they are AKC’s expectation of a Labrador retriever. They have all been OFA, DNA genetic testing cleared. Our Absolut goal is to produce amazing, healthy labs that you and your family will love for their entire lifetime!
We live on 1.5 acres thats fully fenced in a little town in Idaho. Our 3 labs have a couple cat friends in the house and lots of chickens they love to protect and hangout with outside.
My husband spends a lot of time hiking which the dogs love, we also take annual camping trips where Sky, River, and Prissy enjoy long days of hanging out in the stream.
OUR KENNEL
We do not consider ourselves a kennel. We have 1 male, and 2 female white labs. We have 1 – 2 litters per year, our girls are NEVER bred back to back, and will be fixed at a young healthy age. They are kept in our home where they are loved and spoiled every single day. Best part, we keep our puppies inside as well next to our couch where we can snuggle and love on them every day. All our puppies are also environmentally enriched, and puppy cultured. For the first 8 - 12 weeks of a puppy’s life, we have the power to build strong, mentally healthy pups with a drive to learn and obey.
Health Guarantee
We Provide a 24-month health guarantee for genetic, life-threatening diagnosis.
You are required to sign our “Heavenly Polar Labs Puppy Contract/Health Guarantee” to be eligible for our health guarantee as of 2021.

All puppies receive up to date vaccinations while in our care. First vaccine is given at recommend age of 6 weeks, second vaccine is given at age of 9 weeks and 12 weeks if still in our care.
Puppies are dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age.
All our puppies visit a vet for a well puppy checkup within 72 business hours of leaving Heavenly Polar Labs premises.
Health guarantee will be void if you do not take your puppy to visit your choice of licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery.

Your puppy will arrive with health records of deworming, vaccines, and all checkups.
How to Keep your Puppy Safe
Take your puppy for a checkup within 72 hours of picking him/her up! The vet can give you advice on food, tell you when to return for shots, deworming, ect.

Please do not take your puppy to dog parks, public parks, stores, or any public places until puppy has received their 3rd vaccination. Puppy’s are very venerable to life threatening diseases and viruses until 3rd vaccination has been received, and nothing is more heart breaking than losing your sweet baby to one of these terrible sicknesses.

Keep an eye out for diarrhea, vomiting, lack of energy, loss of appetite, or dehydration. If you do see these symptoms call your vet.

We also recommend having a small designated spot in your yard for potty training, however try to limit and control the amount of ground puppy is allowed to cover in your yard until after 3rd vaccination to keep him/her safe.

Also, try to wipe puppies paws clean after going outside. Most viruses and diseases that kill puppies come from them licking their paws.
Training
Start training your puppy as soon as you get him/her! Labs are incredibly intelligent and the sooner you start the easier it is. Just make sure you keep it fun and light hearted. They are just puppies so don't over expect. We love using puppy culture, but we also use a lot of treat driven training as well like what "American Standard Dog Training" on youtube uses. Definitely do your research before puppy arrives so you are ready to teach and learn with your new buddy.

Stay consistent! We love to work with our puppy and adults 1-2 times a day for 5 - 15 minutes. You'll be amazed at the progress you'll make, and trust me, you'll love your puppy even more if they are well behaved.
Puppy Teething!
Puppy teething can be a big deal... but teaching your puppy what to chew on in the beginning can save you a lot of cords, pillows, and wood furniture. No not all puppies eat the house but its better to be safe than sorry.

First thing you HAVE to do is get a good bone, we love antlers, bull horns, ostrich legs, hooves, and bully sticks. Labs are strong so get a good bone that will last.

Second any time puppy is chewing on something they shouldn't be, simply say no, and hand them their bone. Like I said labs are smart and they will pick up what you are putting down real fast!

Last tip, never leave puppy un-attended. If you are leaving the room bring him/her with you, if you are leaving the house put them in a contained area like their crate or a small indoor pen with their bone. Puppies get into trouble when they are not being watched just like a toddler would.
Other Behavior tips
Biting hand - this is a behavior you'll want to stop quickly and almost every puppy goes through this stage. If puppy is biting avoid touching the sides of his/her mouth, and do not encourage chew play. Make sure to use a toy or something other than your hand. If puppy does get your hand in his/her mouth simply turn your finger up or down that way if the puppy bites hard your finger nail will poke the puppies mouth at the same intensity as they are biting down on you, teaching them that it hurts to bite you.

Jumping On People - This might seem cute and harmless at first, but remember this puppy is going to grow up into a 80-120 lb puppy, he/she will likely be 50+ lbs. by the time the puppy is 6 months old. This is an easy behavior to fix as a little baby. Just say no, and put puppy down on the ground, and give puppy no affection or love when jumping up on you. He/she gets love when he/she stays on the ground like a good puppy.. Be consistent and puppy will naturally stop this behavior.
Important Lessons
Lease Training - Puppy should not go out on walks until after their 3rd vaccination, however make sure you still walk puppy around the house on his/her lease as soon as you get her/him home. Put in extra effort not to put pressure on puppy collar and just encourage puppy to follow you with an excited voice. Puppy should never get to go the direction he/she wants if puppy is pulling on his/her collar. Puppy Culture has a great video on lease training your little puppy.

Crate Training - We recommend everyone does crate training. First, just simply take a small dog treat, encourage puppy into crate with his/her treat while saying "Kennel", when puppy goes into kennel, give puppy the treat. Repeat this so puppy associate "Kennel" with a good treat. Puppy will learn to love his her kennel, it becomes a security place for them to go. Crate training the first couple nights might be rough, but do not give in. Teaching puppy to be crate trained will also prevent puppy getting into trouble at night. Just give him/her a bone and toy for company.
